Elsie and I play English System concertinas, mainly we play with Concertina Bands which means we need to travel to meet up with the other players. We have played for a Morris side - The Bourne Borderers -but our latest venture is playing West Gallery music.

This is Elsie's Wheatstone Aeola Treble

This is quite a rare instrument with tortoise shell ends and gold buttons.

This is my Wheatstone Aeola Baritone

Plays one octave lower than the treble

and this is my Wheatstone Bass

Plays one octave lower than the baritone. When you play the lowest notes you can feel the vibrations of the reeds through your knees.
